NASCAR on FOX announcer Jeff Hammond stepped out of the broadcast booth and into the wrestling ring in a Madhouse Match this past Saturday night for AML Wrestling.

Hammond came to the rescue of "The Wrestling Flagman" JB Cole who was being double-teamed by Zuka King and his manager in a No Disqualification Madhouse Match.

"Growing up in Charlotte, I grew up watching pro wrestling and I got to watch a lot of the legends", said Hammond. "I love pro wrestling and I love pro wrestling fans. It was a great night at AML Wrestling in Mocksville, NC and I'm glad that I was there to help out JB."

"Jeff's love of pro wrestling fans combined with his passion for pro wrestling made him a great addition to our Full Throttle event this past weekend," Tracy Myers, Owner of AML Wrestling said. "We were excited to have him there to meet the fans and, ultimately, there to lend a hand to JB."

Hammond, referred to as Hollywood Hammond by his broadcast partner Darrell Waltrip, has a storied career in NASCAR having worked with four champions: Cale Yarborough, Darrell Waltrip, Terry Labonte and Kurt Busch. This places him in the record books as one of the all time greats in the sport.
